01 The intention

To give Portuguese talent direct exposure to one of Europe's most relevant pharma and life sciences ecosystems.

From May 27 to 29, 2026, GenH brought a selected group of participants to Basel for the first edition of the Basel Immersion Program.

The goal was clear. Not through theory — through people, places, conversations and context.

Basel Immersion is not about visiting an ecosystem. It is about helping the next generation understand how one is built.

Portugal does not need to copy Basel. Portugal needs to understand how density, trust, science, talent, companies, startups and capital interact over time.

That is where GenH wants to contribute — building deeper access, stronger conversations and more concrete bridges between Portugal and the international life sciences ecosystem.
